1. Which services are included in my reservation?

If you book directly through us, Hotel Samos will provide you with an accommodation service as well as the type of board that you selected.

Please remember that other services or needs, such as trips or transfers, are not included in the reservation price and that you should book them yourself.

If you have booked with an agency, contact your travel agent to confirm which services are included in your reservation.

2. Which services does my board include?

  • ‘Bed and breakfast’ – only breakfast
  • ‘Half board’ – breakfast and dinner OR breakfast and lunch (request at reception)
  • ‘Full board’ – breakfast, lunch and dinner
  • ‘‘All-inclusive’ – breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner, as well as drinks at the bar (unlimited national brands and half-price premium brands)

Drinks in the dining area are included with all meal services:

  • Breakfast: tea, coffee and juices.
  • Other meal times: soft drinks, water, red/white wine, sangria and draft beer.

You can upgrade to a different boarding option on arrival or at any time during your stay (the upgrade then applies until you leave).

Please note that we don’t offer the option on a day-by-day basis. All members of a booking must upgrade. Individual upgrades are not available. We do not offer any drinks-only packages.

Gold all-inclusive, which includes the same options as standard all-inclusive plus unlimited premium brands, is available to purchase ONLY on arrival at the hotel.

3. Is there a car park at the hotel?

We offer a private car park at an additional cost of 10 EUR/day per vehicle.

If you rent your car through the Hotel Samos website or at reception, parking is 5 EUR/day per car.

4. Is there Internet access?

Hotel Samos offers free WiFi throughout the hotel during your whole stay.

5. Is there a transfer service to and from the airport?

We do not offer a transfer service between the airport and the hotel. Here are the available options, which guests must arrange themselves:

  • Shuttle bus from the airport to Magaluf – from about 7 EUR per person (transfer services are easy to find online; we do not have a recommended partner).
  • Taxi from outside the arrivals hall to the hotel – about 40 EUR per car.
  • Express bus A11 (direct connection) from the airport to the stop next to the hotel – about 5.50 EUR per person (A11 timetable and route).

6. What facilities do the rooms have?

We have a total of 444 rooms, all of which have:

  • a terrace
  • bathroom with shower or bath
  • heating and air-conditioning
  • telephone with direct line
  • 22” TV (satellite channels)
  • hairdryer
  • mini-fridge

Additionally, we offer the option to rent a safe, iron and ironing board, or tea/coffee facilities (Nespresso machine).

6.1. Which equipment do the Premium rooms and Junior Suites have?

These rooms include the same facilities as our other rooms, plus:

  • sea views (Premium with Sea View only)
  • ​direct access to La Terracita (Premium La Terracita only)
  • 40-49” TV
  • safe
  • Nespresso machine (coffee/tea)
  • USB charger

7. Can I rent a safe and how much does it cost?

Guests can rent a safe for 3 EUR/day or 15 EUR/week plus a 5 EUR refundable deposit for the key. Hotel Samos accepts no responsibility for items not securely deposited in a safe.

8. Can I smoke in the rooms?

The whole hotel has a non-smoking policy, except in outdoor areas.

9. Is there a towel service by the swimming pool?

Please bring your own towels to use at the beach or around the swimming pool, as well as any necessary items for personal hygiene (e.g. shower gel).

The sunbeds and parasols on the terraces and in the swimming pool areas are free to use at Hotel Samos.

10. What is Magaluf beach like?

Magaluf beach is completely public and free, and is just 250m from Hotel Samos. It is a white-sand beach with crystal-clear waters, with all essential facilities nearby.

11. Is there a bus service?

Hotel Samos has a public bus stop next to the hotel. Bus lines 104, 105 and 106 link to nearby towns as well as Palma, the capital of Majorca. Journey duration and cost will depend on the destination.

12. At what time can I use my room after my arrival? At what time do I have to leave it when I check-out?

Your room will be available from 2pm on arrival day. The standard check-out time is 12pm.

Guests can also request a late check-out until 8pm, depending on availability. Please contact reception the day before departure to check availability and applicable charges.

13. Is there anywhere I can leave my luggage and have a shower before my flight?

Hotel Samos offers free luggage storage and a courtesy room where you can freshen up or change before leaving (no towels included).

Our check-in/check-out service is 24 hours a day.

14. I am under the age of 18. Can I stay at Hotel Samos alone?

Yes. If you are under the age of 18 and you are travelling without a parent or legal guardian, you must provide:

  • an emancipation certificate or
  • a copy of one of your parents’ passports and a document signed by that person stating that they assume all responsibility for you during your stay. DOCUMENT SIGNED signed by that person stating that they assume all responsibility for you during your stay.

Please note that if you book the all-inclusive service, you will be given an all-inclusive bracelet with non-alcoholic beverages.

15. Loyalty discounts – Hotel Samos Club

When you come to stay with us again, we offer great savings when you book on this website:

  • 5% off your second stay
  • 10% off your third and fourth stays
  • 15% off your fifth stay or more

Contact us before booking (with your full name and passport or ID number) to request your exclusive discount code.

16. Is the hotel for adults only? Does the hotel accept children?

Hotel Samos is a family-friendly hotel. However, we are not a dedicated family hotel. The rates applied according to age are:

Infants (0-2 years): free

Children (3-12 years): child’s rate (50% of the adult rate)

Adults (13+ years): adult’s rate

16.1. What services does the hotel offer for children and families?

  • We provide a cot at no extra charge in all rooms with infants (0-2 years). We can also provide a cot free of charge in other rooms with older children (3+ years) upon request.
  • A microwave (for heating) and highchairs are available in our restaurant.
  • Please note that we do not currently offer dedicated facilities and services (such as children’s entertainment, mini-club, daycare, playground or children-only pool).

17. What does the all-inclusive board include?

We offer two types of all-inclusive: standard and gold. Our standard all-inclusive deal includes:

  • breakfast, lunch, a snack and dinner, all with free drinks in the restaurant
  • free drinks (draft beer, cider, wine, soft drinks, juices, house spirits, slushies, tea and coffee) in the bar from 9am until 11pm
  • plus 50% off premium bar drinks such as bottled beer and cider, fine wines and branded drinks.

Our gold all-inclusive deal includes all the above but offers unlimited premium bottled beer and cider, fine wines and branded drinks (rather than buying them half price).

18. At what times does the restaurant open? Which drinks are included with each meal service?

Included drinks

  • Breakfast: tea, coffee and juices.

19. What type of food is served in the restaurant?

We offer a large variety of local and international food for every service, as well as a themed buffet in the evenings. The main buffet service includes a bakery, salad bar, desserts, full English breakfast, grilled fish and meats for all lunch and dinner services, plus varying side dishes. Our Italian corner also offers a variety of freshly made pizzas and pastas every day.

20. When can guests use the swimming pool?

The lagoon pool is open and has a lifeguard service 10am – 6pm (2 May – 31 October).

At all other times, guests enter the water at their own risk. The hotel accepts no responsibility outside lifeguard hours.

Guests may not use the swimming pools at night.

21. How can visitors purchase a Hotel Samos day pass?

All visitors must register at reception on arrival. Visitors have access to communal areas but may not enter guests’ rooms.

Day passes

We offer passes for visitors who are not staying at the hotel, so that friends and family can meet up and enjoy time together.

Day pass (gold all-inclusive) – 42 EUR per person

  • Gold all-inclusive access for the day within the hotel’s communal areas.
  • Use of all facilities and services, including the pools, restaurant (as per our gold all-inclusive deal) and evening/daytime entertainment.

Day pass (all-inclusive) – 35 EUR per person

  • All-inclusive access for the day within the hotel’s communal areas.
  • Use of all facilities and services, including the pools, restaurant (as per our standard all-inclusive deal) and evening/daytime entertainment.

Day pass (pool only) – 10 EUR per person

  • Access to the pool areas only.
  • All drinks and food to be paid for separately (lunch OR dinner 12 EUR per person, tickets available at reception).
