If you like to keep busy on holiday, Magaluf and the Calvià region can offer you a different activity each day of the week. Keep everyone in your group entertained, whether they’re looking for adrenaline rushes or something slower.

Great for restless guests

Majorca is packed with tourist attractions for both visitors and local residents to enjoy. Within walking distance from Hotel Samos, you can race around a go-kart track, try hair-raising slides at Western Water Park or spend hours at Katmandu theme park.

Just a short bus or car ride away, there are also tree-top adventure parks in Santa Ponsa and Peguera, plus horse-riding centres in Peguera and Calvià. If you prefer something a little gentler, what about a few hours on the golf course in El Toro, Santa Ponsa or Bendinat?

Fun on the beach

With 34 beaches in Calvià alone, including beautiful Magaluf beach just 5 minutes’ walk from Hotel Samos, there’s no shortage of beach activities and water sports available all along the coast.

Look out for hire shops for renting equipment such as boards, or offering classes or guides for scuba diving, surfing, sea kayaking and stand-up-paddle (SUP) boarding. Or simply grab a mask and snorkel to spot marine life in the crystal-clear waters!

Other water activities include wind and kite surfing, jet-skiing, banana boat rides, parasailing, water skiing, wakeboarding, sailing, as well as jet-boat experiences and glass-bottomed boat tours. There’s also an annual beach rugby tournament in Magaluf.

When the sun goes down

As well as plenty of bars and restaurants (plus the talented professional acts and artists at Hotel Samos each night), there’s a variety of evening entertainment options in Magaluf and nearby towns such as Palmanova, Santa Ponsa and Peguera.

From Pirates Adventure, which is a fantastic dinner and acrobatics show a short walk from the hotel, to the Casino de Mallorca, cinemas, bowling alley, theatres and other venues in Palma, you’ll be spoilt for choice.

We offer a packed daytime and evening entertainment programme so that even a ‘quiet’ day by the pool can keep the most restless people busy!
Our activities include free fitness classes, water games, water zorbing, archery and shooting, and there’s also table tennis, games corner and pool tables.
In the evening, there are activities and professional shows each night of the week, such as live music, karaoke, dance acts, visual shows and acrobatics.
You can also burn off your energy in our fully equipped gym, followed by a session in our spa with massage treatment room. And then there are our three outdoor swimming pools, including our stunning lagoon pool.
