Swimming pools
Hotel Samos has 3 unheated outdoor swimming pools.
Maximum depths
- Lagoon outdoor pool: 140cm
- Circular outdoor pool: 37cm
- La Terracita outdoor pool: 52cm
Pool opening times
- The outdoor pools can be used from May to October.
- The lifeguard is on duty ONLY during pool opening hours (10am-6pm).
- The pools are closed to guests at all other times.
The hotel accepts no responsibility outside lifeguard hours.
Babies and toddlers
Small children must wear a suitable waterproof nappy at all times when in the swimming pools. An adult must be with them at all times.
Night swimming
Swimming at night is prohibited.
Floats and inflatables
Guests can use floats or blow-up inflatable toys in our lagoon pool (unless the lifeguards or our staff say otherwise).
Pool and beach towels
Please bring your own towels for use by the swimming pools and on the sun decks, as well as on the beach.
Guests may not take towels from their rooms. You can buy beach towels in shops close to the hotel.
Sun loungers
We provide lots of free-to-use sun loungers and sunbrellas on both sun terraces and around the swimming pools.
Guests are not allowed to ‘reserve’ sun loungers with a towel (or in any other way) until such time as they decide to use them.
Balinese beds
Balinese beds are also available to use free of charge on the La Terracita sun deck.

Topless sunbathing
Topless sunbathing is permitted on our sun terraces and around the swimming pools.
Private beach
Hotel Samos doesn’t have a private beach. The nearest public beach (free to use) is Magaluf beach, which is just 400 metres or 5 minutes’ walk away.
